Skiing & Snowboarding

Tri-City Christian Academy provides an opportunity for students to attend ski lessons during the school year. Senior high students successfully completing the ski instruction shall earn physical education credit.

Our goal is to develop and maintain a Skiing and Snowboarding program that welcomes all levels of ability. In partnership with Gunstock Mountain, student athletes participate in 1-2 hour lessons every Friday during this 6-week program.

TCCA Skiing and Snowboarding provides a wonderful opportunity for student athletes to learn and enhance their proficiency in these sports in a relaxed, yet invigorating, environment. This program is available to students in Grades 3-12. Parents are also encouraged to participate.

Registration for skiing/snowboarding program now thru November 19, 2009. After November 19, 2009 Gunstock requires a $25.00 fee.
Departure from West High Street at 7:30am, returning at 5:00pm

Skiing/Snowboarding Details:

Wear warm and waterproof gear. Knit gloves/mittens are not appropropriate
Lunch is not provided, please pack accordingly. There is food available for purchase at the Mountain

2009-10 Skiing/Snowboarding Fee Schedule

Lift and Lesson: $175.00
Lift, Lesson and Ski/Snowboard Rentals: $265.00 - Download Rental Waiver and Agreement
Helmet Rentals: $30.00 (Helmets are required)

Chaperone Lift Ticket: $24.00 for each week attending
Chaperone Lift and Rentals: $39.00 for each week attending

We strongly encourage & welcome assistance from the families represented by our athletes in the preparation and operation of the concession stand. Sharing this responsibility makes it substantially more convenient for those serving & allows us to continue the service at athletic events. Please contact the school's Athletic Committee for additional information.

Submission of this form by Parent/Legal Guardian hereby asserts his/her acknowledgment and agreement to the participation of his/her child in the specified athletic program, payment of the pertinent fee, and medical treatment authorization:
