COVID-19 and Influenza Letter to the Community - 04/20/2020
April 20, 2020
Dear TCCA Families, Faculty, and Staff:
Here is my attempt to provide more clarification and information on TCCA’s response to Governor Sununu’s press conference and letter from last Thursday, April 16th.
The Governor’s letter, posted on his official web site last Thursday, stated that New Hampshire public schools would continue their remote instruction through the remainder of the school year. Subsequent clarifications revealed that in the Governor’s press conference speech, he also included New Hampshire non-public schools in this directive. Therefore, TCCA will follow his instruction to remain physically closed while continuing remote instruction through the remainder of the school year.
Our school board did discuss his statement that the “New Hampshire Department of Education will be providing school districts with guidance by the middle of May on how to conduct Extended School Year (ESY) programs and other summer programming.” We will await this guidance before making and announcing firm decisions on our various end-of-year events and on TCCA’s Summer Camp.
For the present, here is the latest information I have concerning our many end-of-year events:
