Kindergarten Director / Teacher
Mrs. Patricia Treat has been serving in the ministry of TCCA since 1995. She has been teaching in our kindergarten department for the past 14 years. Mrs. Treat’s love for children coupled with her desire to share the word of God with them has been her driving force for these many years. She is dedicated to laying the foundation of education for children in a loving and structured environment.
Mrs. Treat grew up in Grandview, Missouri. During her sophomore year of high school she and her family moved to Branson, Missouri where she met her future husband, Mr. Timothy Treat. They were married in 1985 and soon after her husband joined the Air Force. They arrived in New Hampshire via the Air Force in September 1986. Once settled they started searching for a church for their new family to worship in. With God’s direction they found Tri City Covenant Church in early 1987. Mr. and Mrs. Treat felt the Lord calling them to stay in New Hampshire, so upon the completion of Mr. Treat's four year Air Force tour, they became permanent residents of the Somersworth/Rochester area. Since then Mr. and Mrs. Treat have worked to serve their church family. For many years Mr. Treat has served as a Deacon and has held the position of Church Photographer. Mrs. Treat and their sons also assisted Mr. Treat in his role as Church Photographer. Mrs. Treat has faithfully served the Food Ministry, Greeter Ministry and the Prayer Ministry. She also enlightened individuals by teaching the adult Sunday school and Cherub Church class.
Mrs. Treat resides in Rochester with her husband of 30 years, Mr. Tim Treat, as well as their youngest of five sons, Jack, who is currently enrolled at TCCA. Mr. and Mrs. Treat’s older sons also attended TCCA, starting in Pre-K, with all four of them graduating from TCCA. They consider the education their children received at TCCA to be the best foundation for their future.
Recreational activities that Mrs. Treat enjoys consist of reading, kayaking, swimming, spending time with her family and helping her husband with the church photo ministry. Mrs. Treat’s oldest son, Lucas, serves in the Air Force and lives in the Midwest with his family. Mrs. Treat considers her granddaughter and grandson to be among her greatest blessings from God and the phone conversations she has with them bring her immense joy.
Mrs. Treat regards helping parents prepare their children for their educational journey, by offering a solid academic foundation in a loving and nurturing environment, to be one of the most rewarding aspects of her vocation. While she ascertains the Bible to be a wealth of knowledge, one verse that she favors and affirms in her mind most is found in the KJV Bible, Proverbs 22:6 “Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”
