While at Somersworth High School Brianne had the opportunity to serve as student choral director/accompanist/President in addition to giving private lessons to younger singers. She also served in Somersworth High School’s band program as student conductor/director/teacher’s assistant.
In the fall of 2009 Brianne enrolled in the University of New Hampshire’s music department with a major in Music Education as a vocal student. Brianne is currently seeking to finish her Bachelor’s degree through the University of New Hampshire and Granite State College.
When she is not teaching, Brianne enjoys playing the piano, singing, spending time with her friends and family, and reading Jane Austen novels.
Brianne finds constant guidance in the Bible, but one of her favorite passages for encouragement is found in Philippians 4:4-7.
“4Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice. 5 Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand. 6 Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
